EXTENSIVE PA BARN RESTORATION FOR SAM
Smucker’s Exteriors & Remodeling is experienced in a lot more than just traditional home improvement and exterior remodeling. We had a great time restoring parts of Sam’s deteriorating barn in PA! Barns are more than just large outbuildings on properties throughout rural Lancaster County PA. Barns hold memories, sometimes shared by multiple generations. They represent family heritage, honest hard work, and deep family ties. It was an honor to breathe some new life into Sam’s barn so that it will be able to serve him and his family for many years to come!
SAM’S NEW METAL BARN ROOF
No matter what building you’re dealing with whether it’s your home, your shed, or your barn, the roof is one of the most important parts. The roof protects everything beneath it. Sam’s barn was in serious need of a new metal roof. Metal roofing is one of the many roof types Smucker’s Exteriors is experienced in installing along with residential shingle roofs, cedar shake roofs, and even commercial roofs! We replaced Sam’s barn roof to ensure that his barn will be protected from future water damage due to rain and melting snow.
REPAIRING SAM’S DAMAGED AND ROTTEN BARN EXTERIOR
As you can see from the pictures Sam had some serious and extensive exterior damage to his barn. On 2 sides of the barn, the walls were very deteriorated. We took the time and care to repair the structural beams on these sections, restoring the structural integrity of the barn. The next step in the PA barn restoration was to install new wall sections anchored to the new structural beams.
The barn restoration turned out beautifully for Sam! The before and after pictures really show the extent of damage the total barn repair we were able to get taken care of for Sam. In the end, Sam ended up with a new metal barn roof, new barn beams to restore structural integrity, and new barn walls on 2 sides of his barn. The appearance and functionality of his barn is now as good as new (because it is new!) and he will be able to store things safely and trust the integrity of his barn again.
