Do you know what’s going on underneath the shingles on your roof? You could have all kinds of water damage and roof deck rot and not even know it. These things lead to more serious home issues if not corrected. We fixed these issues and more during this new roof installation in Wayne PA. Check it out!
Once the old roof was removed we had to repair the decking that was damaged from water leaking under the shingles. This is one of the serious problems with any roof that is getting older. If a roof is more than 15 or 20 years old there is a good chance that water may be getting in under the shingles.
We stripped this roof down to the roof decking to expose some water damage and install a completely new roof. We did the same for Dave’s shed and both the house roof and shed roof turned out fantastic!
Armstrong Chemtec in Coatesville PA opted for a spray-on commercial roof coating. This choice of coating provided multiple benefits that Armstrong will enjoy for many years to come. The white color of the coating is a vast improvement from the original color of their roof, it will reflect the sun’s UV rays and keep the entire temperature of their building cooler which will save them on energy costs. The coating will allow for easier repair in the future and provide the opportunity for recoating down the road instead of a total commercial roof replacement, this will save them potentially thousands of dollars in the future as well.
