We had the privilege of orchestrating a full-scale exterior transformation for a property in Pottstown, PA. This extensive renovation updated every aspect of the home's exterior envelope—replacing old wood siding with premium James Hardie fiber cement, upgrading to high-efficiency Andersen 400 Series and ProVia Endure windows, installing new ProVia entry systems, and adding custom stone veneer and Azek trim accents. The result is a striking, low-maintenance home that offers maximum thermal efficiency, moisture protection, and timeless curb appeal.
The Full Scope of Work
- Hardie Siding, Sheathing & Stone Accent:
- Stripped wood siding, installed 1/2" plywood sheathing, and applied Henry Weathersmart Drainable Wrap.
- Installed James Hardie Cedarmill siding in Mountain Sage with stainless ring shank nails and OSI Quad sealant.
- Upgraded front porch walls with ProVia LedgeStone Susquehanna stone veneer over a full rainscreen assembly.
- Fitted color-matched painted Azek Paint Pro trim on corners, rooflines, foundation edges, light bases, and garage doors.
- Windows, Entry Systems & Front Porch Build:
- Installed 9 Andersen 400 Series windows, 2 ProVia Endure basement awning windows, and interior poplar/colonial trim.
- Replaced the main entry with a ProVia Signet Oak door in Aged Barrel and added a steel rear garage door.
- Rebuilt the front porch using an Azek-wrapped beam, a classic column wrap over a 6x6 post, and a Wolf Woodland ceiling.
- Gutters, Soffit, Fascia & Shutters:
- Installed ProVia Woodhaven vented soffits and smooth aluminum fascia in Canyon color.
- Mounted 5" seamless gutters color-matched as closely as possible to the Canyon soffits and fascia (with 2x3 downspouts).
- Added 5 sets of 14" Fypon board-and-batten shutters stained in Aged Barrel.
