We had the privilege of orchestrating a large-scale exterior and outdoor living development for a property in Kennett Square, PA. This complex renovation combined a full residential roof replacement with an expansive structural deck addition. Featuring a custom-framed structural porch cover, integrated waterproofing systems, premium TimberTech composite surfaces, and a specialized ScreenEze enclosure layout, we have delivered a high-end, weather-tight entertainment space built for luxury and lifetime performance.
The Full Scope of Work
- GAF Timberline Protective Roofing System:
- Installed premium GAF Timberline Lifetime shingles over GAF TigerPaw synthetic underlayment and a Henry ice and water shield.
- Completed the high-performance system with a Peakperformer ridge vent and structural hip and ridge capping for optimal attic airflow.
- Structural Decking & Screened Porch Build:
- Framed the new deck addition using premium pressure-treated lumber and meticulously applied protective joist tape across the top of all joists.
- Constructed a grand A-frame roof cover wrapped in White Azek trim, finished underneath with a cathedral ceiling of Wolf tongue-and-groove beadboard.
- Installed Pecan-colored TimberTech Legacy Collection composite decking, a Key-Link vertical cable railing, and a Zipup under-deck waterproofing system.
- Fully enclosed the structural porch space with a tight ScreenEze layout and installed two premium A-500 Westmore screen doors.
- High-Capacity Gutters & Leaf Guards:
- Installed heavy 6" seamless white aluminum gutters (.032 gauge) paired with high-capacity 3x4 downspouts and elbows.
- Topped the entire gutter line with heavy 6" Gutter Extreme Leaf Guards to keep the drainage channels permanently free of leaf debris clogs.
