By moving to an insulated vinyl siding system and upgrading the drainage, we've significantly improved both the home's performance and its overall curb appeal. The Full Scope of Work
This renovation involved a complete teardown of the old exterior and a meticulously planned installation of premium modern Provia siding products and advanced moisture barriers.
- Siding & Protection:
- Full removal of all existing siding and old house wrap down to the concrete foundation.
- Installation of advanced Henry Drainable house wrap across the entire home with all seams taped for superior moisture management.
- Installation of Provia Cedar Max vertical vinyl siding (White) on the front of the house and the rear section below the deck.
- Installation of Provia Cedar Max clapboard Double 6 vinyl siding (White) on all other exterior walls.
- Addition of smooth aluminum flashing on foundation walls, color-matched to the new siding.
- Trim, Soffits & Fascia:
- Removal of all existing fascia and soffits.
- Installation of new Triple 3 1/3" invisavent vented soffits (White) for optimal attic airflow.
- Installation of smooth aluminum fascia and rake boards (White).
- Placement of Azek panels behind electric boxes for a clean, rot-resistant finish.
- Installation of all new exterior light bases and mounting of exterior lighting fixtures.
- Gutters & Drainage:
- Installation of 5" heavy .032 gauge seamless gutters with high-capacity 3x4 downspouts and elbows.
- Installation of Gutter Extreme 5" Leaf Guards on all new gutters to prevent debris buildup and ensure long-term performance.
- Secure fastening using heavy-gauge wide flange aluminum hidden hangers with self-tapping screws for maximum stability.
