Project Highlights: Oxford Exterior & Window Refresh
We had the pleasure of working on a comprehensive exterior update for a home in Oxford, PA! This project was all about boosting the home's efficiency and aesthetic with a full siding replacement and a complete window overhaul. By moving to high-quality vinyl siding and premium construction windows, we’ve given this property a fresh, clean look that’s built to withstand the elements while significantly improving the home's insulation and performance.
The Full Scope of Work
This project focused on a top-to-bottom exterior renovation, including all-new siding, updated windows, and detailed trim work.
- Siding & House Wrap:
- Complete removal of the existing siding and old house wrap.
- Installation of new Henry Drainable house wrap for superior moisture protection.
- Installation of Provia Hearttec Dutch Lap Double 5 vinyl siding (stock color) across the entire home.
- Window Installation (19 Units):
- Removal and disposal of 19 existing windows.
- Installation of 16 Paradigm 8300 series windows (tilt wash, no grids, with full screens).
- Installation of custom specialty units: 1 Paradigm Picture window, 1 Paradigm Half Round, and 1 Harvey Octagon window.
- Complete installation of new interior trim for all 19 windows, including 5/4" bullnose edge sills and matching colonial trim casing.
- Trim, Soffits & Fascia:
- Removal of existing fascia and soffits.
- Installation of new Triple 3 1/3" white vented soffits and smooth white aluminum fascia and rake.
- Installation of Azek composite on all porch beams.
- Installation of Versatex porch post wraps on four new 6x6 treated posts, finished with bed and base caps.
- Upgrading 2 garage doors with new Azek trim casing and weather strips.
- Gutters & Drainage:
- Installation of 5" heavy .032 gauge seamless white gutters.
- Installation of 2x3 downspouts and elbows with necessary splash guards to ensure proper drainage away from the foundation.
