Introduction

This project involved a comprehensive exterior renovation to enhance both the durability and aesthetic appeal of the home. By replacing outdated materials with high-performance products like James Hardie fiber cement siding and Paradigm windows, the renovation aimed to improve both the home's visual appeal and energy efficiency. Our team was excited to bring this customer's vision to life for their home!

Work Performed

• Siding Replacement: Removed existing stucco and installed James Hardie HardiePlank 7" Cedarmill fiber cement siding, complemented by Hydro-Gap house wrap and Azek outside corners for enhanced protection. This upgrade excludes fascia, soffits, rake, and gutters.
• Window Installation: Installed 28 Paradigm 8300 Series new-construction windows, featuring Low-E, argon-filled glass with in-glass grids and half screens. Included are one round top window and several transoms, finished with interior bullnose sills and 2 1/4" casing.
• Door Upgrades: Installed a ThermaTru fiberglass entry door alongside three Paradigm sliding doors, complete with aluminum wrapping and caulking for optimal weatherproofing.
• Porch Cover Construction: Built a new porch cover using 2x6 rafters, Azek post sleeves, a standing seam metal roof, matching soffits, and an aluminum-wrapped beam to enhance the entrance's visual appeal.
• Stone Veneer Restoration: Reinstalled stone veneer on two reverse dormer sections using proper rainscreen techniques for lasting durability.

Results

The renovation resulted in a stunning transformation that not only modernizes the home's exterior but also significantly improves its energy efficiency. The use of James Hardie siding ensures long-lasting protection against weather elements while maintaining a stylish appearance. The newly installed windows and doors enhance insulation and functionality. The front porch cover adds an inviting touch to the entrance.
