Overview
This project involved a comprehensive remodel of the home, focusing on enhancing aesthetics, energy efficiency, and overall property value. The homeowner was actively involved in selecting materials and colors, ensuring that the renovations aligned with their vision for the property. Choices included Certainteed Monogram vinyl siding and a Paradigm sliding door, reflecting a commitment to quality and modern design.
Work Performed
- Siding Replacement: Removed existing siding and house wrap. Installed new Henry Drainable house wrap and Certainteed Monogram vinyl siding.
- Dormer Siding: Installed Certainteed Cedar Impressions D-7 straight edge perfection shingle siding on the front dormer.
- Fascia and Soffits: Removed existing fascia and soffit; installed new Triple 3 1/3" Invisivent vented soffit and smooth aluminum fascia.
- Gutters: Installed 5" heavy .032 gauge seamless gutters with downspouts and splash guards.
- Sliding Door Installation: Removed existing sliding door and installed a Paradigm 8300 series vinyl sliding door, double glazed with LowE glass.
- Window Trim: Installed Azek j-channel trim around 14 windows.
- Window Replacement: Removed 14 existing windows and installed 13 single units and 1 double unit of Paradigm 8300 series double hung windows.
- Porch Beams and Post Wraps: Installed Azek on porch beams and wraps for 4 porch posts, as well as Azek on 2 garage door openings.
