This project involved the removal of the old stucco exterior and installation of new siding and windows for a colonial-style house that blends traditional charm with modern upgrades.
Removed all existing stucco and house wrap down to the concrete foundation and wood framing.
Installed smooth aluminum flashing on the foundation walls.
Installed new Henry WeatherSmart drainable house wrap over the entire house.
Replaced any damaged or deteriorated sheathing as necessary.
Installed James Hardie HardiePlank fiber cement siding with a 7" Cedarmill texture, including necessary trim.
Inspect windows to determine if existing flashings are acceptable; if not, replace as needed.
Installed kick-out flashings where necessary.
Peace of mind for replacing failing stucco and housewrap with striking but classy style of siding. The wood shingles and stone veneer help to maintain the traditional but stately curb appeal.
